1. What Treat is
Treat is a Finnish remote medical advice service. You describe a symptom, a licensed Finnish physician reviews and answers. Treat does not provide emergency care.
2. Who can use it
Adults (18+) physically present in Finland with a valid Finnish citizen ID. We are not a replacement for the public healthcare system or for an in-person examination when one is indicated.
3. Emergency
If your situation is urgent or life-threatening, call 112. Treat is asynchronous and not suitable for emergencies.
4. Fees
Either you or your employer pays per case as displayed in the app before you submit. No subscription, no auto-renew. Cancellation before a doctor opens the case = full refund.
5. Limitations
Treat doctors can issue prescriptions and short sick-leave certificates per Finnish law and Valvira guidance. Treat doctors cannot order imaging, perform examinations, or certify long sick leave.
6. Liability
Treat doctors are professionally liable per the Patient Injuries Act. Treat Oy is responsible for the service platform per consumer protection legislation.
